Listen Now
After a slight break in action, we are pleased to announce that we are back with a special bonus episode (topic chose by our Producer Mark) before we begin our next band full-studio album discography next week. Bonus Episode #6 covers the topic of “Songs that Get the Blood Going” according to our hosts. This is not a “definitive” list of the most heart throbbing, adrenaline induced tunes out there. It is simply a “unique” selection of the Top 5 songs that each of our hosts decided on over the weeks leading up to the show. The criteria was this… each of us selected 10 songs that fit the criteria and then shared them so we could all listen in preparation. The only catch was, you didn’t know which 5 made the cut until we were live on air. At that point, each member sold their spiel on why they picked these 5 before we each Loved, Flushed, Bought, Nudged, or Terminated each selection resulting in a consensual Top 5 list out of all of our 40 picks. We hope you enjoy!

Top Five… Part One?

The List
(5) Ariana Grande – “Break Free” feat. Zedd (2014) – Mark
Excerpt about song here.
(4) Children of Bodom – “Triple Corpse Hammerblow” (2003) – Mark
Excerpt about song here.
(3) Alice Cooper – “Roses on White Lace” (1987) – Kevin
A blistering riff, double bass, wild leads….all ingredients to get that heart pumping. The closer off of 1987’s Raise Your Fist and Yell brings the goods right from the start and doesn’t let up. Talk about a strong, non-hit deepcut.
(2) Rush – “Subdivisions” (1982) – Mark
Excerpt on song here.
(1) The 1975 – “If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)” (2020) – Alex
Excerpt on song here.

Love It or Flush It Legend
T = Terminate. What is this doing here? What were you thinking? Goodbye. -5 points.
F = Flush. Sorry, this doesn’t deserve to be here. -2 points
N = Nudge. I don’t necessarily like it, but can show respect. +1 point.
L = Love. It’s in the name. +2 points
B = Buy. Just an incredible find or pick. +5 points.
The Rules
Obviously, we don’t vote on our own tracks. They are given points based on our chosen seeds. For example, seed 1 gets 5 points by default, seed 2 gets 4, and so on. Each of us must Love, Flush, Nudge, Buy, and Terminate AT LEAST ONE track, no matter how great or terrible everything is. The tiebreaker- well, you’ll have to listen to how we determined that one!
