Mark You’ve heard about me talking about artists and their languages recently – CHVRCHES has it right. A developed indie pop band that has retained their identity and developed at the same time.

Chris With a lot of synthwave, it sounds like it was created in a bedroom – not so much here. Very professionally done.

Alex Big fan of Lauren’s voice and liked the few songs I heard going into this album. Lots of earworms going on here and like pretty much everything here.

Kevin The developed sound and rawness of the first two albums combined with the pop sensibilities of Love is Dead. How can you go wrong?

Love It or Flush It Legend

L = Love. As many as you like.

F = Flush. Must flush at least one track per album.

B = Buy. Purchased for the ultimate LTS “Best Of” playlist for each of us. One per album.

T = Terminate. Should have never even existed. One per album.

The Rules

Each of us must Love, Flush, Buy, and Terminate AT LEAST ONE track on an album, no matter how great or terrible the album is. Whoever wins the “7 for the Buy” section gets an extra Buy or Terminate to use on the album. Because Chris hosts this section and thus cannot win, he gets an extra Buy or Terminate every 4 albums.

Album Information

Screen Violence is the fourth studio album by Scottish synth-pop band Chvrches. It was released on 27 August 2021 through EMI Records in the UK and Glassnote Records in the US.[10] Lead single “He Said She Said” was released on 19 April.[11] The album was announced alongside the second single, “How Not to Drown”, a collaboration with Robert Smith, lead singer of the Cure.[12]

The album was promoted with a North American tour from November to December 2021.[13][14]
