Quick Reviews
Mark Makes you appreciate something like Van Halen III. It’s just getting worse and worse as we go. The interest here is to absolute zero.
Chris An album that crosses genre’s and doesn’t know what it wants to be. Odd that somehow now Tom is getting all these songwriters in on the album.
Alex Multiple times where I was asking, “What band is this?” Some catchy melodies on the songs that don’t sound like Boston, but it is just so confusing. Maybe three or four actual Boston-sounding songs.
Kevin Like Chris said, this album doesn’t know what it wants to be. Even the songs that are good on here sound like they should be on someone else’s solo record – not bad songs but they don’t seem to fit. The others are lackluster and mostly uninspiring.

Love It or Flush It Legend
L = Love. As many as you like.
F = Flush. Must flush at least one track per album.
B = Buy. Purchased for the ultimate LTS “Best Of” playlist for each of us. One per album.
T = Terminate. Should have never even existed. One per album.
The Rules
Each of us must Love, Flush, Buy, and Terminate AT LEAST ONE track on an album, no matter how great or terrible the album is. Whoever wins the “7 for the Buy” section gets an extra Buy or Terminate to use on the album. Because Chris hosts this section and thus cannot win, he gets an extra Buy or Terminate every 4 albums.
Album Information
Corporate America is the fifth studio album by American hard rock band Boston, released in 2002. Most editions feature a live version of “Livin’ for You”. The original version of “Livin’ for You” is from Boston’s previous full-length album Walk On (1994).
The album also introduced both Anton Cosmo and Kimberley Dahme as both band members and songwriters. This is the last Boston album to feature lead vocalist and founding member Brad Delp, during his lifetime before his death in 2007. It also marked the final appearance of Fran Cosmo.
The album sold 32,000 copies in its first week of release and charted at 42 on the Billboard 200. By 2013, the album had sold over 500,000 copies in the United States. The album was pulled from all digital and retail markets by founding member Tom Scholz due to a record company dispute with Artemis.
The final page of the CD booklet is dedicated to preserving the environment, providing web links to such organizations as PETA.
An instrumental song called “Crystal Love”, which often was declared on the internet to be a bonus track for Corporate America, is actually a song of the South-Korean guitarist Lee Hyun Suk and appeared on his album 3 which was released in 1995.[3]
The bonus track “Livin’ for You (Live)” is on all releases of the album.
