Listen Now

Does anyone care at this point? Probably not, but we have to struggle through it anyway. Light the Sky grudgingly sits down to discuss Boston’s 2013 “effort”. Does this band even belong on the greatest discographies of all time list, or should we have covered the first two albums as special episodes and sent the rest to oblivion with a Shift-Delete? Call the plumbers prematurely because this Love It or Flush It might very well be a flush-fest. This episode was livestreamed! Check us out in future episodes on twitch.tv/lightthesky

Mark Produced by someone without ears – inexplicable.

Chris A complete afterthought record. Haven’t ever been more disinterested or bored with a record.

Alex Just burnt out with this band at this point. The other versions of this album don’t help.

Kevin I’m not sure what’s going on anymore, but its fun to think of a grand conspiracy theory that this album is a scam. That way we can pretend it didn’t happen.

Love It or Flush It Legend

L = Love. As many as you like.

F = Flush. Must flush at least one track per album.

B = Buy. Purchased for the ultimate LTS “Best Of” playlist for each of us. One per album.

T = Terminate. Should have never even existed. One per album.

The Rules

Each of us must Love, Flush, Buy, and Terminate AT LEAST ONE track on an album, no matter how great or terrible the album is. Whoever wins the “7 for the Buy” section gets an extra Buy or Terminate to use on the album. Because Chris hosts this section and thus cannot win, he gets an extra Buy or Terminate every 4 albums.

Album Information

Life, Love & Hope is the sixth studio album by American rock band Boston, released on December 3, 2013, by Frontiers Records, making it their first studio album in eleven years.[1][2] It is the first album released following the death of Brad Delp in 2007, whose vocals are posthumously featured on the songs “Didn’t Mean to Fall in Love”, “Sail Away”, “Someone”, and “Te Quiero Mia”, the last of which being a rearrangement of “I Had a Good Time”, from Corporate America.

    Hello, Light the Sky team.

Im a big fan of your podcast, especially the Pink Floyd and Queen discography. Your show is very funny, and i love it
I want to recommend you guys some bands that i would like to see you cover
Of all the bands i would like to see, it would be The Beatles definitely.
I know that some of you are anti-Beatles, but considering how they evolved rock music and their impact on pop-culture in general
And hey, you might discover some gems along the way, just sayin.
    Hopefully you follow my request.
    Sincerely
    King
